Art Mumbai 2023 opened a new chapter for contemporary art in South Asia. Showtime produced the inaugural edition at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai, bringing together 53 galleries from across India, the USA and the Middle East alongside a fashion showcase by Tarun Tahiliani, a cultural conversation with Karan Johar and performances by pianist Sahil Vasudeva and comedian Zervaan Bunshah, making the first edition as culturally rich and ambitious as it was artistically significant.
